Do you know how it's made...? inks

Now exists a vegan variety of traditional inks is impossible homologate that  in Spain. To approve a tone of ink you have to bring a sample to a clinical laboratory where they test for compatibility and risk to humans. The certificate required do animal testing and then lose the status of vegans.

Composition of the non-vegan inks.

Black:

     Coal.
     Iron Oxide.
     Extracts of bark.

Blue:

     Cobalt aluminate.

Green:

     Chromium oxide.
     Hydrated chromium sesquioxide.
     Malachite green.
     Lead chromate.
     Green curcumin.
     Talocianinas coloring.

Red:

     Mercury sulfide.
     Cadmium Red.
     Siena (hydrated iron sulphate and iron).

Amarillo:

     Cadmium Yellow.
     Ochre.
     Yellow curcumin.

Brown

     Ochre.

Violet:

     Manganese violet.

White:

     Titanium dioxide.
     Zinc dioxide.

Human Skin:

     Iron oxides (ocher variant).
